We have begun to lower the lake for maintenance. This occurs every three years and will not happen again until September 2029.
Please use this time to inspect your walls and docks and make necessary repairs. It is also a great opportunity to clean up any debris collected at your property's lake edge.
If you plan to build a dock, please submit your plans to the Lake Forest Board of Directors by email or by dropping them off at 5 Pinepoint Drive.
Do not build a dock
without approval from the Lake Forest Board of Directors. Please note that all new docks must be floating; permanent docks will not be approved. If you have begun constructing a permanent dock you need to stop as stated, permanent docks are NOT permitted.
Any docks that are beyond repair must be removed, there are a few that are partially sunk in the lake at this time. The Association will follow up with formal letters to these property owners.
Boat docks have been removed for the season and will be put back in the Spring. We ask that all kayaks be removed from the boat dock area by November 7th.
No kayaks can be stored for the winter in this area.
Please inspect any trees near the lake on your property. Several properties have unhealthy trees that risk falling into the water. The Association will follow up
with formal letters to these property owners. Trees that fall into the lake must be removed by the property owner within a timely fashion. Additionally, if you
have any broken trees or limbs currently resting in the lake, please remove them.
